bits and baubles
Joyful words and prized heirlooms are
unearthed in two distinct, charming collections.

“After working in the corporate sector for two years,
Laurel Pipkin yearned to return to her artistic roots...Leaving
her Virginian native soil, Pipkin transferred herself to
New Jersey, a few miles short of New York City, where she
set up her studio.
"Her line of delicate pieces is formed using smoothed
translucent glass, small drills and thin paper. ‘Glass
is like an empty canvas - the possibilities are appealing
to me.’
"...Integrating peaceful and joyful inspirations,
Pipkin says her jewelry helps her keep positive messages
and serene images with her at all times. ‘People
need to be reminded to take deep breaths and remember what
is important. My jewelry does that for me. My hope is that
it will do that for others as well.’”
